Practice Schedule :
All Practices at Junipero Serra HS (451 W 20th Ave, San Mateo)

14u & 12u : Mon, Wed 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm; Sun 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Water Polo Requirements:
All athletes need a USAWP membership (Gold, Silver or Bronze level). They cannot participate in practices without this. USA Water Polo will charge fees for membership.
Expectations:
• Athletes must:

be able to swim 100 yards freestyle and tread water for 30 seconds

have a growth mindset, including willingness to listen and learn.

have stamina for a 2 hour practice

respect the facilities, teammates and coaches
Scrimmages and Tournaments:
SMAC teams will participate in competitive leagues and tournaments. In the fall season we hope to be entering teams into the Bay Area League and West Valley League. Our participation in such leagues and tournaments is contingent on having enough interested players, but we cannot guarantee participation for all athletes in competitions. Rosters will be decided by the coaches based on factors including capacity, availability, commitment, attitude, skills, and fitness
We will also be creating opportunities for all athletes to play in scrimmages at practice and via friendly scrimmages with local teams.
